The Yeti Campus Robotics is selling Domino's Slice the Price cards to raise money towards future competitions and operating expenses!

With the Slice the Price card, every time you purchase a large pizza at Domino's, you will receive another large pizza FREE!
The cost of the card is just $20, which is about the price of a large pizza. So if you use the card just once, it pays for itself! However, you can use the card as many times as you would like until it expires.
You can also use the card for multiple purchases. For example, if you were having a party, you could buy 10 pizzas and get 10 more FREE! You could even buy 100 pizzas and get 100 pizzas FREE! The best part about this card is that we are going to profit $10 for every card sold!

Springs Studio Graduate Receives Highest Academic Honor at Firefighter Academy

Springs Studio for Academic Excellence is incredibly proud to celebrate 2026 graduate Macy Crumley, who was officially sworn in as a firefighter Friday night in Larkspur, Colorado!

Macy entered the firefighter academy in January at just 17 years old, becoming the youngest recruit ever — and she didn’t just complete the rigorous program. She excelled.

Macy earned the highest academic scores in her academy class and achieved the No. 1 academic ranking in Colorado.

While training at the firefighter academy, Macy was simultaneously carrying a full high school course load at Springs Studio. Springs Studio’s hybrid learning model — combining online learning with in-person classes and support — gave Macy the flexibility to continue progressing toward graduation while completing the demanding training required to pursue her career in emergency services.

Over the course of eight months, Macy completed more than 400 hours of firefighter training while also finishing high school. Shortly before being sworn in as a firefighter, she reached another major milestone by earning her EMT certification.

And what a year it has been.

Macy graduated from Springs Studio this spring and recently turned 18, making her accomplishments at such a young age even more remarkable.

Now officially a firefighter, Macy is considering the next chapter of her journey, including pursuing her paramedic certification and continuing her education in college.

Macy’s story is an incredible example of what can happen when a student has the determination to pursue an ambitious goal — and an educational model flexible enough to help make that goal possible.

But perhaps what is most remarkable is the life of service Macy has chosen. To become a firefighter is to make a commitment few people are willing to make — to answer when someone calls for help, to run toward situations others are trying to escape, and, when necessary, to put the life of a stranger before your own.

Rapid City Fire Chief Jason Culberson described the heart of the fire service this way: “We have this inherent want to serve our community and serve the public, and that you’re willing to step in and risk your life for others.”

8th grade is moving on up to high school at Springs Studio. Onward and upward!

A big thank you to Dr. Susan Howell and the UCCS Anthropology Team for teaching 6th grade about Forensic Anthropology and Crime Scene Investigation. Students used their forensic knowledge to create crime scene dioramas and utilize their investigative skills.
