The Green Action Fund was founded from the 2008 bill approved to reallocate the $5 solar semester fee to a campus sustainability grant program.
Students Funding Campus Sustainability Projects...reducing our ecological footprint by changing physical operations, promoting sustainable behavior and raising awareness. Our focus of the month is amazing in so many ways! Not only were UCCS student able to learn in person about the effects of their passions, but also positively impact a community through sustainability. Meet Denzil Afriyie, one the leaders of our most recently approved project and our Focus of the Month! π His senior design team recently returned from a trip to Entusi, Uganda where they designed a sustainable food storage solution for local farmers. π±

Want to stay fit while also keeping up in class work? Then meet our Focus of the Month, the Kraemer Family Library Fitness Study Stations! πΆββοΈ Since March of 2019, the bike station has tracked 1704 miles! Find them on the main floor of the library, near the periodicals shelves and microfiche cabinets.
