Mitchell High School Thespian

Thank you for your creativity, perseverance, joy, courage, support, flexibility, passion, and leadership! Each of you will each be missed. We’re so excited for what your futures hold!

Last week, 6 Thespians were formally inducted into the troupe, 12 returners were honored, 5 officers sworn into the cabinet, and 25 were awarded at our annual International Thespian Society Induction and Awards Ceremony! Congratulations, Troupe 2959!

Mitchell’s Intermediate Production class took their self written adaptation of Jon Scieszka’s The Frog Prince Continued on tour! Monroe, McAuliffe, and Wilson Elementary Schools were so fun to perform for and everyone had an amazing time! Thanks for the opportunity to share our love of live theatre with our district’s “littles”.

The ITS Awards Night is TOMORROW!! Dress code is semi-formal. If you have been invited, bring your family and friends and be prepared to receive an award or be inducted!

Mitchell’s Advanced Acting class packed up an activity bus and toured with The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon to Swigert and Sabin Middle Schools! Two awesome audiences in two very different stages. Thank you for having us! Don’t miss our final performance, along with the The Frog Prince Continued and Mitchell’s Variety Show tomorrow/Friday!
