Columbia Elementary hosted a Used Book Fair and Holiday Sing along this Tuesday evening. The was such an amazing event where student's and parents were able to get books, sing some holiday songs, spend time together and eat some delicious food. It was awesome to see the excitement on the kids faces as they were getting new books and singing along.
Columbia also had a section of winter clothing that parents could take if the need was there. Great things happening at Columbia Elementary. The Colorado Springs School District 11

Penrose Elementary Showing us what Community Engagement looks like!
D11 Engage had a blast this afternoon hanging out with the Penrose community at their Thanksgiving event. Games, music, haircuts, food, cake, and the ultimate highlight -- an opportunity for students to pie their favorite teachers and principal.
Special appreciation for the community partners who volunteered their time and services to make this possible today. And a very special shoutout to Community Liaison, Scott Clapper, Principal Schoolmaster, and the true joy and value of family engagement!
Go Panthers!
