I have been conspicuously silent on the Facebook platform for some years, for various reasons, but since I have a profile here, I wanted to share this important update: I have moved.
My new studio is located in the Cragmor neighborhood of Colorado Springs, and have continuously operated my business in this new location since July of 2023.
The new studio features 500 square feet of jamspace, many more instruments, and a lot of new audio/video production equipment.
I am easily as busy as I wish to be, doing an average of 20 full-hour lessons per week.
There is but one caveat: My students must be able to dig Fun Style. Lessons available by appointment.

I'll bet quite a few people have wondered about how the SCORE of a movie is produced. Here is a textbook example of how that is done. I fascinates me! Here's a full-sized symphonic orchestra, complete with choir, performing this soundtrack recording in REAL TIME (that's exactly what it sounds like - we're hearing it being laid down (recorded) as it's played).
Kevin Kiner, my lifelong friend and Brother in Music, has conducted many a group in this manner for the scores he has composed for Movies, TV -- and now Gaming. This kind of high-budget Audio Session is becoming more rare now, due to the lower cost of in-house production using the latest available MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) equipment and software, in which Kevin was a pioneer since the mid 1980's.
Cool stuff, eh?

Eric Owings EA queued this up to the Shred Section. That Hilary can sure play! But it occurred to me that "Roll Over Beethoven" doesn't really apply to this piece. Thanks Eric!
