Tonight's Live Stream Yin Yoga practice will include temporary withdrawal of the senses (called Pratyahara in Sanskrit) in a series of poses designed to prime your mind and body for sleep, which I call the Bedtime Sequence.

Imagine you sneak out of lockdown to a primeval forest. Beneath towering trees and silvery moonlight you find a soft, moss-covered boulder, on which you lay down to rest. Imagine you rest and restore here for some time, but from your own home, without ever having to leave.

If you need a mental "outing," I'll be guest teaching the Live-Stream Restorative Yoga class tonight. We will engage with quite a bit of rest with some guided meditation.

Hey Humans ~

I'm back, have missed you, and am happy to announce a new web-based Yin Yoga class offering on Wednesday evenings from 7:30 - 8:30 pm.

I will be so happy to share in this virtual space with you as we all navigate these uncertain times. I've been thinking about the discomfort that can arise while remaining still, whether that's in a yoga pose or in life, and how we can cultivate the curiosity to dig a little deeper to see what else may be there. How to adjust, physically or on the inside, to find a foundation. As always, we will explore. Hope to see you there!

Hello Yin Yoga Friends,

Long time no see! I am happy to be home and will be subbing a few classes at Root over the next few weeks, at which I would love to see you for some navigation of your own inner landscapes. I'll keep watch so that you are free to explore the depths.
