MYSTERY ISLAND ART CAMP: DAYS 3 & 4

📜 Day 3: The Lost Language of the Island

Our explorers ventured deep into the jungle where they stumbled upon the remains of an ancient civilization. Hidden among the crumbling ruins were mysterious symbols carved into old stones and cave walls.
The challenge? Decipher the forgotten language!

After working together to crack the code, each adventurer created their own ancient alphabet and left behind secret cave writings for future explorers to discover. Some messages told stories of hidden treasures, while others warned of the island's greatest mysteries... 👀

Who knows? Maybe the island still has a few secrets it hasn't revealed yet.

🏺 Day 4: The Forgotten Village

Today our explorers uncovered what appears to be an abandoned village, untouched for hundreds of years. Scattered throughout the ruins were beautiful artifacts that hinted at the lives of the people who once called Mystery Island home.

Our young archaeologists became master craftspeople, creating:

✨ Colorful mosaics
🏺 Ancient-style vases
🪃 Boomerangs that may have once been used by the island's inhabitants

With every discovery, the story of Mystery Island grows. But one big question remains...

What happened to the people who lived here, and what will our explorers uncover next?

Next Saturday we have our first event with SUP Colorado Springs where we will lead a canvas painting on the shore and the paddle board team will provide the guidance on how to use the paddle boards and off you will go out on the waters. ❤️

No experience is needed for this event. Each ticket is good for both the guided painting and paddle board experience. ☺️

That's a wrap on our Day 2 of Mystery Island Art Camp!

The kids got to explore and further embark on their adventure on mystery island and they created the different animals and creatures they would see!

Amongst these creatures that they have seen (and created), were ginormous colorful pythons, cuckoo birds, silly sloths, timid turtles, and squishy jellyfish 🪼 .

We are so excited for what tomorrow brings on Mystery Island. Want to join us? Drop in for a day, or three! We would love to have you! Every day the kids go home with their amazing creations.

We are usually closed on Tuesdays, but we will be here, so come on out and hang out and create some amazing things with us!

Next Saturday we will be participating in the Buzzy Bee event at Memorial Park.

The following Saturday, we will be back at Memorial Park near the beach house hosting a guided canvas painting and afterwards a paddle board experiencebwith !

We've been a little quiet on social media this week, and for a very good reason... we've been busy making memories!

Summer has officially kicked off at The Playful Palette Co., and it has been such a joy welcoming so many new families through our doors. The creativity we've seen from these amazing kids has been incredible—every day they're dreaming up, building, painting, and creating the coolest projects!

We've also had the privilege of hosting THREE field trips already this summer, celebrated several wonderful birthdays, and filled the studio with laughter, imagination, and lots of colorful fun.

And we're just getting started!

SUMMER CAMP BEGINS MONDAY! ☀️

Our first summer camp kicks off Monday, and we currently have just 2 spots remaining! Camp is open to ages 6–14, and we offer both half-day and full-day options to fit your family's schedule.

If your child loves art, creativity, hands-on projects, making friends, and summer adventures, we'd love to have them join us!

NEXT WEEKEND: ART ON THE WATER! 🌊

We're also incredibly excited for our first collaboration event with SUP COS! Participants will enjoy a guided canvas painting experience on shore while also getting the opportunity to paddleboard with the amazing SUP COS team.
