Sam DiMaio capped his Colorado College men’s lacrosse career by earning a spot on the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Scholar All-America team, presented by Dynamic. DiMaio, who graduated in May with a degree in economics, compiled a 3.7 grade-point average during his four years at CC. He also led the Tigers to the Heartland Collegiate Lacrosse Conference championship as well as the program's ninth appearance in the NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse Championship during the 2022 season.

The Colorado College men’s lacrosse team was honored to meet David Quon, father of former CC men’s lacrosse and soccer player Chris Quon, who passed away unexpectedly after graduating in 2009. Mr. Quon spoke about Chris’s love for his teammates and the college, and his passion for helping others. He also shared comments from Dr. Tony Spirito, father of men’s lacrosse teammate Evan Spirito, who lost his battle with a rare form of lung cancer soon after graduating in 2010. As a student, Chris Quon organized a charity soccer tournament, which he named Answer to Cancer. The event was renamed the Quony Cup in Chris's honor and all proceeds benefit the Colorado Springs chapter of the American Cancer Society. For more information, please visit the following sites:

Winning conference championship has been a rite of spring for the Colorado College men’s lacrosse program since 2011. However, after a near-perfect run in the SCAC, a new challenge awaits this weekend as the Tigers make their debut in the Heartland Collegiate Lacrosse Conference Championship at St. Rita of Cascia High School on Chicago’s South Side. CC, the No. 1 seed from the South Division, faces Anderson University in the first semifinal on Friday, May 6, at 4 p.m. MT.
