8th grade students shined during our first History Day Showcase with thoughtful, impressive projects that highlighted their historical knowledge and analytical thinking. Student work was displayed throughout the school, giving families the opportunity to see creativity, insight, and dedication on full display. We couldn’t be more proud of our students and the success of this inaugural event!

Besides placing in all 4 school categories, Aspen Ware (2nd grade teacher at the Astrozon Campus) won BRONZE, and JICHS Junior Ezekiel Uyan won GOLD in two DJ categories-- wedding and event.

We were thrilled to kick off JICMS’s first‑ever History Day Showcase with our 7th grade students! Through engaging and well‑researched projects, students demonstrated their knowledge of historical people, places, and events while sharing their creativity and insight with visiting families. We are so proud of these exceptional presenters and appreciate everyone who joined us to celebrate their achievements.

In the last 3 months, 186 James Irwin families raised $1126.22 for the school by shopping at King Soopers and participating in this program. What would happen if we had 200 families participating? (JICS has over 2,000 students!)

Today we celebrate the birthday of James Irwin, the remarkable astronaut and engineer whose legacy continues to shape the spirit of our school. As a member of the Apollo 15 mission, he became one of the few explorers to leave footprints on the Moon — a powerful reminder of what courage, curiosity, and determination can achieve. 🌕🚀
His commitment to discovery continues to inspire our students to reach higher, push boundaries, and dream boldly.
Here’s to honoring his incredible contributions and the example he left for future generations. 💫

Big news for JICMS & JICHS! 🏈💙
We’re thrilled to share that the Daniels Fund has awarded our schools an $86,940 grant to help launch football at both the middle school and high school!
This grant will allow:
JICMS → to officially start its first football program
JICHS → to launch a JV football team, with plans to build a varsity program in the coming years
This is a huge step in expanding opportunities for our students and building school spirit across our campuses! If you have any questions, contact our athletics department.
