Break out your coolest, silliest, brightest, or most stylish sunglasses and show your SABIN SAINTS SPIRIT! 🐾

REMINDER: Sunglasses are for spirit-day fun, but students must respect staff requests to remove them the first time they are asked. If a student does not comply, the sunglasses will need to be put away for the rest of the day.

📱 **YONDR POUCH REMINDER – EVERY DAY, STARTING DAY ONE!** 🔒

Attention Sabin families and students!

All **6th, 7th, and 8th grade students** are required to bring their **YONDR pouch** to school **every day**.

✅ On **Day 1**, every student's cell phone **must be placed inside their YONDR pouch and locked** before the school day begins. This is a daily expectation for all students. 6th grade student will receive their YONDR pouch on Tuesday Aug. 11th.

Please make sure your student:
• Brings their YONDR pouch on the first day of school.
• Brings it to school every day.
• Keeps it in good condition.

⚠️ **Lost or damaged YONDR pouches will result in a $30 replacement fee.**

🍎 FREE School Meals for ALL Students at Participating District 11 Schools! 🥪🥛

Thanks to Colorado's Healthy School Meals for All program, all students at participating District 11 schools receive FREE breakfast and lunch, regardless of household income.

Even though meals are free, families are strongly encouraged to complete the Meal Benefits Application! Qualifying families may receive additional benefits, including:

✅ Reduced fees for school and community programs
✅ Summer Electronic Benefits Transfer (S-EBT) of $120 per eligible student during the summer months
✅ Additional funding that supports our schools—especially Title I schools—by providing more resources for students and staff.

We're excited to introduce Denise Ramirez, our new Special Education Paraprofessional!

Originally from California, Denise recently moved to Colorado and brings experience supporting students in classrooms and educational programs. She is passionate about building positive relationships, creating welcoming learning environments, and helping every student feel encouraged and successful.

Outside of school, Denise enjoys painting, hiking, attending concerts, and exploring everything Colorado has to offer.
