CC professors make an impact out in the community. Professor Brian Linkhart from our Department of Organismal Biology and Ecology recently helped wildlife professionals in Pueblo with a flammulated owl chick named Ash displaced by the nearby Aspen Acres Fire. Firefighters rescued the chick and brought it to the Nature and Wildlife Discovery Center in Pueblo to recover and mature safely.
