Has it really only been a month?! Just wanted to drop in and say HI ❤️ I've been forcing myself to take at least a full month off and it's almost that time. We miss everyone and our community. But...we don't miss:

💰Paid Parking
🚗 Trying to find parking spots
🅿️ Anything to do with parking
🚧 Traffic and construction
🌪️Feeling rushed (but we're still adapting to a slower pace)

What we do miss:
🍴Mausam Restaurant
🍔Anything other than burgers & pizza
🫶 YOU!!

We had our first official guest, and it would be weird if it wasn't a Gather student!! Even before my mom (who gets here tonight). Good you see you, Scott!

Now that the first month is gone, we're slowly starting to think about our future here in MN. So stay tuned for details of a few things coming up in Sept. Then we're taking a vacay and we'll be back at it with more frequency mid October.

We did it! The final truck from Gather is unloaded and somehow we absorbed it into our house and garage. A HUGE thank you to those who came out and helped clean, pack and load the truck. We never could have done it alone. Please keep that community spirit going!

The kitties made it, too! They were better travelers than I expected and are settling in nicely to their new home.

On our one year Gatherversary we moved into our current location. But it wasn't easy!! Do you remember what she looked like before? Thanks to the Gather community volunteering time, sweat and love we turned this poor broken down house into what she is today! It will be so hard to leave her, but we hope that the new owners continue the stewardship of this 100+ year old house. She deserves all the love!

ONLINE CLASSES ARE COMING BACK!!! Will you miss us? You can still come cook with us live. We'll be taking a little time off, but are already working in the background in how we can bring you the very best online experience! New cameras, audio, etc are in the works.

How do they work? Our online classes are live, which means you can ask questions in real time and engage with us just like you would at Gather. Register online and receive the shopping list, equipment list and recipes, join us live and receive a recorded video of the class. Cook or watch from the comfort of your own kitchen.

We spent our first year of business in the cottage, and it was wonderful! Our humble beginnings, when we opened this business on a whim and a prayer, with $2000 borrowed from family. That paid for our first months rent, deposit, food for our Grand Opening party and a whopping $25 left for me to decorate. But we did it, with your help! And look at us now!!
