Each month in addition to our Reggio inspired curriculum, we focus on learning about an artist of the month too. This month we are learning about Michelangelo! We may be biased, but we think their work is museum worthy.
Check out this masterpiece from one of our preschool rooms. 🎨🖌️🖼️
Be sure to check out all of our children’s art on your tour with us!

📚✨ Our 3-Year-Olds Are Letting Their Imaginations Run Wild! ✨📚
This week in our Signature Program, our little learners dove into the wonderful world of Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak. Inspired by the story, the children created their very own "Wild Things" using pipe cleaners, straws, and a variety of tools to add unique details to their imaginative creatures.
The creativity didn't stop there! The kiddos also had a hands-on sensory experience mixing their own salt dough, getting a little messy while exploring textures, measuring ingredients, and working together.
From storytelling and creative expression to sensory exploration and fine motor development, it was a fun-filled week of learning, creating, and letting imaginations run wild! 🐾🎨🧂

We are currently enrolling infants, toddlers, and preschoolers!
At Blue Skies, we are inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, where children learn through play, exploration, creativity, and meaningful experiences. Our days are filled with hands-on learning opportunities that encourage curiosity, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.
We are also working hard to develop strong social-emotional skills, helping children build confidence, kindness, self-regulation, and positive relationships with others.
Our goal is to provide a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where every child feels valued, loved, and empowered to grow.
We would love the opportunity to care for your little ones and become a part of their learning journey!

Our UPK kiddos have been learning about our Artist of the Month, Michelangelo! 🎨✨
Mr. Jeffrey taught the children all about the famous Sistine Chapel and how Michelangelo spent years painting its incredible ceiling. The children were fascinated by his artwork and creativity, and today they were inspired to become artists themselves!
Using their imaginations, our little artists painted their own “ceiling tile,” just like Michelangelo. Watching them explore art, history, and self-expression was such a fun and meaningful experience.
We are so proud of their creativity and enthusiasm for learning! Who knows? We may have some future artists in our classroom! 🖌️🎨💙

Our UPK kiddos graduated today, and we can hardly believe these are the same little babies and toddlers we once held in our arms. 🥹🎓
We have future ice cream shop owners, doctors, nurses, police officers, teachers, and so much more walking out of our doors today. These sweet kiddos are going to do BIG things in this world, and we are so proud of every single one of them.
To all of the families who came out and supported your babies today — thank you from the bottom of our hearts. It meant so much to them to look out and see all of you cheering them on during such a special milestone.
We are going to miss these kiddos dearly, but we can’t wait to see all the amazing things their futures hold. 💛

We celebrated all of the amazing women who pour so much love into our children’s lives at our Mother’s Day Tea. 💐🫖
This day is not just for moms, but also for the aunties, grandmas, and every special woman who shows up, supports, loves, and helps raise these sweet kiddos. Your presence means more than words can say, and we are so thankful for each and every one of you.
Thank you for allowing us to celebrate you today and for all the love, care, and guidance you give every single day. Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible women in our village! 💕

Our UPK friends got their hands a little dirty today—in the best way 🌱💚
They spent time in our garden beds planting vegetables, and it was such a meaningful experience for them! Gardening isn’t just fun—it helps children learn patience as they wait for their plants to grow, responsibility as they care for them, and confidence as they see the results of their hard work.
It also sparks curiosity about where food comes from, encourages healthy habits, and gives them a chance to connect with nature in a hands-on way 🌞🥕
We can’t wait to watch their little garden (and their excitement) grow! 🌼

Our Fun Twos class dove into an ocean adventure today 🌊🐠
We combined all things ocean with a hands-on sensory experience, and the results were amazing! From the very beginning to the very end—what a transformation.
✨ Look how it started vs. how it ended! ✨

We kicked off our Family Appreciation Week strong! 🌸
We had a lovely Flower Bar, and it was such a sweet experience. The kiddos absolutely loved helping their moms and dads pick out the perfect flowers to take home. Watching their excitement and pride as they created something special for their families was the best part!
Thank you to all of our amazing families for being such an important part of what we do—we appreciate you more than you know! 💐
