Hoopster League is coming to Harrison School District 2!

Calling all 4th & 5th grade basketball players! The HSD2 Fall Hoopster League is a co-ed opportunity for students to build skills, work as a team, and have some fun on the court!

🏀 Tryout Window: September 14–25
👟 Teams: 12 players per team
🏀 Practice Begins: Early October
📅 Practices: 2 times per week
🔥 Saturday Games: Late October–November
🏆 Championship: Mountain Vista, Carmel, Sierra, Harrison & Panorama will compete!

Our counselor, Mrs. Davis, joined our 1st graders for SEL today to talk about respect and positive ways to work through conflict with friends! 💙 Students practiced alternative ways to have conversations when they disagree, thought about how their words and actions impact others, and did lots of RESPECT CHECKS along the way! Building these skills early helps our Rams learn how to communicate, problem-solve, and take care of one another

Our 7th and 8th grade Social Studies students are putting in the work! Students are preparing for DBQs by building background knowledge, annotating and highlighting text, reading aloud with peers, discussing their thinking in teams, and learning how to turn evidence into strong written responses. Their hard work is paying off as they strengthen their reading, thinking, discussion, and writing skills!

Connect with legal and community advocates, learn about your rights, and access resources to help navigate housing challenges.

Families can access free legal counsel, tenant rights workshops, community-based support services, and a resource fair. Workshop topics include mobile home rights, Eviction 101, and the Immigrant Tenant Protection Act.
