🌟 Fun times at the Fountain Creek Nature Center! 🌿🐞

Our Eagleside members had an absolute blast exploring nature and learning all about the fascinating world of arthropods! 🔍✨ The day started with an entertaining puppet show, followed by an exciting hike around the center, bug sweeping, and exploring the educational area.

Enrollment is now open for the Kids Club 360 Before & After School Program (SY 26–27) for children ages 5 to 12!

Program Pricing & Fees
Weekly rates per 5-day week include $110.00 for Before School Only, $155.00 for After School Only, $185.00 for Before & After School, and $170.00 for the Kindergarten B&A Package. A non-refundable registration fee of $70.00 applies for a single child or $115.00 for two or more children.

James Irwin Elementary School – Astrozon Campus
5525 Astrozon Blvd., Colorado Springs, CO 80916
Morning Hours: Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 7:30 AM. Afternoon Hours: Monday through Thursday from 3:20 PM to 6:00 PM, and Friday from 1:20 PM to 6:00 PM. Transportation is provided by James Irwin Charter Schools to and from the Canada and Howard campuses to the host site.

A huge thank you to Rachel from the Pikes Peak Library District for stopping by our Eagleside Summer Camp! She treated our campers to a wonderful story celebrating Colorado’s 150th anniversary, while also sharing the exciting news that it’s America's 250th anniversary this year!🎉

Following the story, our members got creative with a special state-themed art activity. Using all kinds of colorful art supplies, they got to design and decorate their very own versions of Colorado. 🎨❤️

To top off an already amazing day, Rachel brought along a treasure trove of literature, and each member got to pick out a brand-new book to take home and keep! 📖🎒

🎈 Science is Popping Off!
Our members turned into chemists this week to explore the invisible power of gas! 🧪✨

Club members experimented with the classic reaction between baking soda and vinegar. Instead of just watching it fizz, we focused on the Carbon Dioxide released during the reaction. The look on everyone's faces when they saw the gas expand and take up space was absolutely priceless! 💨😲

It’s safe to say the "wow" factor was at an all-time high. Our young researchers were so excited about the results that they were already planning their next big experiment!

We absolutely cannot forget to give a huge thanks to Melani Tutt for a very special Saturday! On March 7th, members competing in the Jr. Youth of the Year got to participate in their very own professional photoshoot!

The youth had an absolute blast, taking several amazing photos. We are so incredibly grateful to Melani Tutt for spending the entire day with us and taking such beautiful pictures of our inspiring future leaders!
