Attitude and Effort Coaching Update ๐ฃ
Your Attitude and Effort Coach hasnโt gone anywhere!
Still here making a difference in the lives of others one coaching session at a time.
Similar to my hairstyle, my coaching abilities have grown a lot!
Still gainfully employed in Corporate America, Iโve found my role as a Learning & Development practitioner to greatly complement my passion as a coach.
Everything is everything, and I remain engaging others on personal and professional topics to drive value and impact through powerful coaching!
For the lifelong developers out there, donโt sleep on coaching!
Professional coaches provide phenomenal support to their clients, not by spoon-feeding them, but instead by providing a healthy challenge along with support.
Coaches also provide alternative perspectives to what you may think or how you may consider navigating a situation or scenario.
Whether youโre at the top of your game or making your way up a steep learning curve, a coach can be the collaborative partner in your corner to come along side you and support your efforts.

Hereโs the story behind the name, Attitude and Effort Coaching:
The words and were very familiar for me growing up. I played sports, primarily football, and attitude and effort were things many of my coaches often spoke about.
One coach once put it this way: "Attitude and effort are the only two things in your control."
๐ก
This statement largely resonated with me. I was never the biggest, fastest, or strongest guy on the team. I couldn't control my height, and my physical abilities were on a spectrum I'm sure, but nevertheless, a spectrum I had no control over.
The fact that I actually had a say in my attitude, and in the effort I chose to exert was motivating and inspiring for me.
This would eventually bleed over into other areas of life, not just sports. And I thought to myself, what if I could share this motivation and inspiration I have for attitude and effort with others through coaching?
Enters
Since 2021, l've been on a mission to support others in strengthening their mindsets, promoting action, and optimizing performance. This work invigorates me like nothing else, and it's been a true honor to serve the clients I've been able to work with.
On career advice
๐๐พ No one is going to advocate for your career more than you.
It can be a good thing when we have others in our lives who advocate for our growth, development, and future opportunities.
At the same time, we must realize that there is no greater advocate for us than ourselves.
๐ No one can tell your story like you can
๐ No one can express the depth of emotion from your experiences like you can
๐ No one will want those opportunities for you more than you want them for yourself
Advocacy for your career is yours. OWN it, and be the one to tell your stories, convey your experiences, and knock on those doors of opportunity.

from your Attitude and Effort coach ๐ฅณ May you come into 2024 with excitement, anticipation, and the presence to hold the spaces you desire in this new year of opportunity!
Donโt worry, Iโm not going to get all coach-y on you! ๐
First, letโs acknowledge that goal setting can be a real challenge for some of us. Itโs a tough pill to swallow when we donโt accomplish the things we strive for.
Fortunately, there are many paths available to us when it comes to setting goals, and goal setting isnโt a โone size fits allโ ordeal ๐ ๐คท๐พโโ๏ธ
For me, I like to set goals or intentions that align with my values. If the goal has anything to do with Relationships, Development, or Wellness, Iโm more inclined to stick with it.
Try this on for size ๐
๐๐พ Set goals that are in alignment with things you care about. Ask, does this thing allow me to bring value and impact to something thatโs important to me?
If so, jot it down ๐โ๐พ and youโre on your way to achieving what you set out to do.

Feeling accomplished โบ๏ธ
First let me say, it takes a lot to put yourself out there, no matter the content ๐๐พโโ๏ธ
Back on Nov 19th I had an idea to develop some content around my story as a coach. I would call it the Attitude and Effort Coaching โAbout Meโ Series.
6 recorded videos later (and really, MANY more takes) and the project is complete!
Simply put, this is conceptualization ๐๐พ ex*****on ๐๐พ conclusion captured in this grid. Brings me joy to see it all come together ๐๐พ
