What do you see when you open the eyes of your heart?

Ephesians 1:18 says, “I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened…” — that we might truly know God’s purpose and spiritual truth for our lives.

If you’re looking at the world through your wounds or trauma, you’ll see everything fragmented. You’ll believe everyone is against you or what you stand for.

A friend who tragically lost five of his children on their way to his house for a Fourth of July BBQ once told me:

“Learn to move your wounds and trauma out of your soul—where they stay broken and stuck—and into your spirit man, where they can be healed and redeemed.”

When we see the world through redeemed eyes, through our enlightened heart, we finally see people and life the way God does — through goodness and hope.

In the midst of chaos, I strongly encourage you to slow down, take a deep breath, and educate yourself.

Too many of us are being manipulated by mainstream media, TikTok, Instagram, and the endless noise of opinions. We start believing horrible things about people—not because we’ve searched for truth—but because we’ve absorbed someone else’s dark ideas.

The world is not ending. We still win when we walk by faith and not by sight. And it takes all of us—together—to bring life, hope, and healing to this planet.

You either face your demons, or they will raise your children.
