Getting January's preschool centers all set up and ready! The first two weeks we will learn all about ice, snow and snowmen, the second two weeks we will learn all about polar animals and what animals do in winter! What goes better with the birth of a new semester and a new year? The baby nursery in our dramatic play center! The kids will LOVE it!

Gingerbread theme for December, along with our 5 senses science unit! The kids love this unit. So many fun choices in their centers.

Munchkinland Preschool has one full day/full week spot, and one half-day upk morning spot left for the 2025/2026 preschool year. We will accept a fully potty-trained 3 to 5 YO, UPK qualified, or private pay.
Nestled in a great spot in 80920, (right off Powers/Briargate) we are a small preschool that offers a learn-thru-enriched-play environment that focuses on themes children can relate to. We offer a fun curriculum with daily language, math, writing, music, dramatic play and science centers as well as a balanced focus on independence, social/emotional skills and kindergarten readiness.

It's been a labor of love the last few days, and I still have a few more centers to set up, but I'm excited to see what the kids think of our Pet Unit. Always a special thanks to Mr Chris who helps with any muscle work and anything artsy bc he's great at it.

Munchkinland Preschool is now enrolling for Universal Preschool (UPK) for August 2024. Nestled in a great location in D20, (Nr Briargate and Powers 80920) we offer both Monday/Wed full day spots and Tuesday/Thursday full day UPK spots for 7.5 hrs each day. We also offer wrap-around full day, full week care for both UPK and/or teachers' kids. We offer themed units of inquiry that are relatable to a child's world. Children have the freedom to choose various areas of play, while we focus on enhancing their play environment, and encourage them by having meaningful conversations and asking open-ended questions. We provide many enriching activities in both large & small group style, as well as plenty of independent activities. Our varied centers include music, language, library, pretend, art, sensory, and STEM offerings daily. We also place value on independence and strong social-emotional skills. This helps our children have a confident emotionaI intelligence when they start Kindergarten, which assists them in learning to advocate for themselves. We teach them that they are capable, intelligent, valuable, inquisitive, caring, loving, and lovable. We love being outside in the sunshine, and get plenty of outdoor time for gross motor development daily. We also offer field trips and give children the freedom to explore the world around them. We strongly believe children can learn anything we bring to them, and strive to make every experience a teachable moment. 20+ years of experience in early childhood education. Anyone on here interested in a part time mornings-only job starting in August? School year schedule, off on D20 holidays/ breaks/ snow days. Pay scale would be $17 to 25/hr depending on experience and you must have a heart (and the patience of a saint!) for working with children. Must be at least 18, reliable, dedicated, and be willing to do early childhood trainings and certifications (at my expense.) 15 to 20 hrs a week, 8am to noon or 12:15 max.

The stockings were hung by the front desk with care, in hopes that St Nicholas soon would be there!
If you'd like to send over a Christmas card with a gift in it for Coach Sky (best coach ever!) then make sure I have it by Thursday morning and I'll drop it in on the way to class!
