🚗 Arrival & Dismissal Reminder as the school year begins:

Fremont Families,

A few quick reminders to help keep arrival and dismissal safe, organized, and moving smoothly:

🚙 Kiss & Go
If your student uses Kiss & Go, please remain in your vehicle and proceed through the Kiss & Go car lane.

☀️ At arrival, staff members will be outside to assist students as they exit their vehicles and enter the building safely.

🚗 At dismissal, students will wait with their grade level while staff members help connect them with their vehicles.

📍 The attached map shows the Kiss & Go lane and where each grade level waits for car pick-up at dismissal.

🚶 Parent/Guardian Pick-Up
If you are picking up your student on foot, please park your vehicle and walk to your child’s classroom door to pick them up. The attached map is specifically for Kiss & Go car pick-up, not parent walk-up locations.

🛝 PK Playground
Please remember that our PK playground is not a walkway to the primary blacktop during arrival or dismissal. The playground will remain locked during both arrival and dismissal for the safety of our littlest Pathfinders. Please use the sidewalks around the PK playground to access the primary side of the building.

Thank you for your patience, cooperation, and understanding as we continue getting our routines down and work together to keep all of our Pathfinders safe! 💙

🌟 What a wonderful night at Fremont! 🌟

Our Open House & Meet the Teacher was filled with smiles, excitement, and so much Pathfinder spirit! 💙💚 We loved meeting our newest Fremont students and welcoming back so many of our returning Pathfinders and families. Seeing our classrooms full of students and families again made us even more excited for the year ahead!

💌 One of our favorite parts of the evening was seeing so many families stop by the library for our “Write a Note” activity to leave a special first-day message for their student. We can’t wait for students to find those encouraging notes waiting for them! 🥰

A huge THANK YOU to our community partners who joined us tonight! We are grateful to have such wonderful partners working alongside us to support our students and families. It truly takes a community! ❤️

We can’t wait to welcome our Kindergarteners at 7:50 AM! 🌟

🏃‍♂️ A Familiar Pathfinder Is Following His Passion! 💙💛

We're excited to share that Mr. Jordan Lockett is stepping into his dream role as Fremont Elementary's new PE Teacher!

After inspiring our 5th grade students in the classroom, Mr. Lockett is beginning a new chapter in the gym—bringing the same energy, creativity, and commitment to helping every student succeed.

Many of our students already know and love Mr. Lockett, and we can't wait to see the positive impact he'll continue to make as he encourages healthy habits, teamwork, confidence, and a love of movement.

Congratulations, Mr. Lockett! Thank you for continuing to share your passion with our Pathfinders. We are so excited to cheer you on in this new role!

We're excited to introduce Ms. Alayna Miller, our new Art Teacher at Fremont Elementary!

Ms. Miller has been an art kid at heart since elementary school and is passionate about helping every student discover their creativity. Whether she's spending time at the ceramics studio, cheering on Colorado teams, or dreaming of visiting France to experience its incredible art, she brings her love of creativity into everything she does.

Her goal is simple and inspiring: to help every future artist know they are talented, creative, and wonderful.

💙 Welcome to the Fremont Family! 💙

We're excited to continue introducing the incredible educators on our team this year! Today, we'd like to welcome Mr. Joshua Matoke, our new Special Education Teacher (Mild/Moderate Needs).

Mr. Matoke may already be a familiar face to many of our Fremont families! Last year, he served as a long-term CLDE substitute at Fremont, where he built strong relationships with students and staff. We're thrilled to welcome him back this year in his new role as a Special Education Teacher.

Mr. Matoke has experience supporting students with a wide range of learning needs and is currently completing his Master's degree in Special Education at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. He is passionate about helping every child learn, grow, and succeed while building positive relationships with students, families, and staff.

Outside of school, Mr. Matoke enjoys spending time with his dogs, caring for his koi fish, exploring nature, staying active outdoors, and learning about health and wellness.

Please join us in giving Mr. Joshua Matoke a warm Fremont welcome! We are excited to have him as part of the Fremont family! 💙💚
