United States Air Force Academy - Class of 2011
The Mission of the Class of 2011 page is to help graduates of the USAFA Class of 2011 stay connected together and support our graduating class gift campaign.
As we prepare to go our separate ways in a few weeks, this site will allow us to communicate to the class as a whole, share stories, and network with each other. As a class we are also undergoing a class gift campaign to raise money to support other classes with their exemplar program as well as a portion of our gifts going to support cadet programs and alumni services.

Olds!
Happy Mustache March!
I wanted to give you all an update on where we stand with our 10 Year Reunion. As of right now, we are in a holding pattern. The official word from the AOG is "based on our last conversation with them [the Academy/Supt's office], they pushed out their decision time frame and are planning on making a decision this month [March].
We have an awesome team ready to help in the planning process once we hear official word!
Keep standing by! Once we hear something, I will let everyone know!
Also, shameless plug for myself running for the AOG Board of Directors. If you're an AOG member, and haven't voted yet, I would greatly appreciate your vote! Plus, lets not let 2010 out-vote us!

This past week I (Joe Bledsoe) learned of the passing of Michael Trubilla, CS-35, and Class of 2011. He passed away on 24 Jul 2016 near Leshara, NE of injuries sustained when the civilian aircraft he was piloting went down.
Mike and I were both in CS-19 as freshman, and I can say he was one of the smartest dudes I knew at USAFA. Little do most people know how much he helped us all out by playing a huge roll in making sure Ring Dance was the success that it was. A donation is being placed in his name to the Hawk Mountain Council Boy Scouts on behalf of the Class.
He will be missed by all. Here's a toast.....

Class of Olds',
I'm writing to ask for the Class of 2011 to help support our legacy Class of 1971 and their recent endeavor to have a monument of Robin Olds placed on the Heritage Trail at USAFA. This is their class gift they plan to donate to the Academy. You can see all the details of the plan (and trace the history of the approval process to making these things happen) on their webpage at http://www.airwarrior.org/.
The reason they need our support is because they are running into some headwind with the AOG because it seems like they are holding fast to a loosely written policy that "forbids non-grads from being honored."
On 7 December the Class of 71's president will will be appealing that policy in front of the AOG Board of Directors. He will be asking the BOD to change the policy to include "non-grads of notable association with the Academy" --thus qualifying General Olds.
To help out the Class of '71, and our mustached hero, we ALL need to go to the "Pledge/Comment" tab on the below website, and send our comments directly to the AOG BOD Chairman (or specific members, if you know them).
Feel free to pass this info and the website to others...the more positive comments we send to the BOD, the greater chance this stand of actually becoming reality.
Thanks everyone!
