This special event gives our incoming kindergarteners a jump start on learning the procedures, routines, and expectations at Evans before the school year begins.

Parents/guardians, please plan to park and come inside to sign in your kindergartener that morning.

District 49 is pleased to host breakfast and lunch service this summer at no cost to all children, ages 1-18. This service is available for all children, regardless of which school they attend, and those who are not currently enrolled in a D49 school. Wishing Mr. Chapman a happy retirement after 30 incredible years at Evans!

For 30 years, Evans has been fortunate to have Mr. Chapman shaping the lives of students. His dedication and steady presence have left an impact on generations of students, staff, and families, and his legacy will carry throughout our school for years to come.

Yesterday we celebrated two very special milestones at Evans! 🎉

Our Kindergarten students are ready for 1st grade, and our 5th graders are headed off to middle school! We are so proud of all their hard work, growth, and accomplishments this year.

🎉 Today is the last day of school for our Wildcats, and the end-of-year celebrations are still going strong!
End of year student award celebration in Ms. Hallman’s class for their end of year party! Students got awards like “the energizer bunny” and “Red Bull award” for always bringing the energy, “the cool cucumber” and “ice cube award” for always staying calm, “the sparkler award” for sparkling personality, the “peacock award” for being bold and confident, “the Picasso award” for artistic creativity - fun and silly awards like that. Students had a blast celebrating each other and being silly with their awards!
