Looks like our Flamingos had an explosive day of fun today!

Our kiddos created their own volcanoes out of clay, using their creativity and imagination to bring each masterpiece to life. Not only was this activity fun, but it also provided a pretty cool sensory experience that encouraged hands-on learning, fine motor development, and creative expression.

And let's be honest...who doesn't love sensory play? 😊

🎳 STRIKE! What a fantastic day for our School-Age crew! 🎳

Today our school-agers hit the bowling lanes and had a blast! From strikes and spares to lots of laughs and friendly competition, our kiddos had so much fun spending time together outside the classroom. Yesterday, they went to the movies and enjoyed the movie The Goat, spent time with friends and ate lots of popcorn!

We can't wait to see where our next adventure takes us!

Our Summer Program is officially in FULL SWING!!

And let's just say... our kiddos are LOVING every minute of it!

After a long school year, our school-agers are enjoying time with friends, getting creative, playing games, making music, exploring new activities, and simply being kids.

Today, they put their creativity to work by painting volcanoes and flowers. They turned out AMAZING! The excitement is only growing because next week kicks off one of their favorite parts of summer...FIELD TRIPS!

🌊🐚 June is here, and we're diving into our brand-new theme: All Things Sea! 🐠🦀🐙

This month, our little learners will be exploring everything from sea animals and seashells to beaches, ocean habitats, and all the wonders found beneath the waves!

Today, we kicked off our ocean adventure by creating our very own Sea Buckets! Our preschoolers and pre-k kiddos had so much fun using their creativity while getting excited for all the hands-on learning and discoveries that await them this month.

We can't wait to see where this underwater journey takes us! Stay tuned for more sea-themed activities, crafts, experiments, and smiles throughout June

Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. ❤️🤍💙

This Memorial Day, all of us at The Lighthouse extend our deepest gratitude to the heroes who gave their lives in service, and to the families who continue to carry their legacy forward.

As we spend time with our loved ones today, may we also take a moment to reflect on the freedoms we are blessed with because of their courage and sacrifice.

Today was such a beautiful and bittersweet day at The Lighthouse Early Care and Education as we celebrated our UPK Graduation Class of 2026 🎓✨

Our preschoolers were surrounded by the people who love them most. Their families, parents, teachers, and friends, as we honored how much they have grown over this last year emotionally, socially, academically, physically, and in their own unique personalities. Watching each one of our kiddos blossom into who they are becoming has truly been one of the greatest gifts.

There were smiles, laughter, proud tears, and so many unforgettable moments. Our teachers poured their hearts into their speeches, our kiddos did AMAZING with their songs and dances, and the joy on their faces was absolutely everything to us. You could truly feel the love in the room.

This is community. This is what community looks like. This is what community feels like. It truly takes a village to raise a child, and we are so grateful that so many families have trusted us to be part of their village during such an important season of life.

To our graduates. We love you so much. A piece of your light will always remain here at The Lighthouse. We are beyond excited to watch you shine your light at your big kid schools and continue becoming everything you were created to be. 🌟

Thank you to all of our families for coming together to celebrate these incredible children today, because today was all about YOU and the beautiful little humans you are raising.

Here at The Lighthouse, we truly put mothers on a pedestal. We see the love, sacrifice, patience, and strength it takes to manage so much every single day. We see the early mornings, the long nights, the hard decisions, the quiet worries, and the endless love you pour into your children.

Please know that you are seen, valued, and deeply appreciated. We pray this year is filled with grace, love, patience, and moments where your children rise up and praise you for all that you do.

As a small token of our appreciation, we created a beautiful muffin spread for our Lighthouse moms. Thank you for trusting us with your babies and allowing us to be part of your family.

Teacher Appreciation Week is in full swing over here! 💙

Today we treated our phenomenal team to catered Chick-fil-A, and let’s just say… it was a hit! Leadership and our parents have been loving on our staff all week long because they truly deserve it!

Our teachers pour so much into our next generation every single day. Their patience, love, creativity, leadership, and heart do not go unnoticed. They are helping shape the future one little mind at a time, and we are beyond grateful for every single one of them.

To our Lighthouse team: thank you for showing up, loving hard, loving deep, teaching with purpose, and passion... and being the safe place our families and kiddos need. We appreciate you more than words can express.

Today was filled with so much joy, culture, and hands on learning for our Lighthouse kiddos! We kicked things off with our preschoolers creating their very own Mexican flags! Such a fun and meaningful way to introduce them to the colors and symbolism behind the celebration. ❤️🤍💚
