As we prepare for our Community City Serve day in conjunction with COSILoveYou organization on October 3, 2026 from 8 am - 12 pm here at Sierra High School where will be taking the day to beautify our grounds (trash clean up, w**d removal) and paint over the graffiti on the fence that is between Sierra and the housing complex south of Sierra
We are looking forward to seeing you volunteer on October 3, 2026 .

Keaton Banks is a beast in the classroom and on the field! With 8 rushing touchdowns through three games, he’s currently tied for 2nd in the state. And he’s only a sophomore! Big things coming for Mr. Banks. Stallion Nation, let’s speak greatness into this young man!!!

Good afternoon my fellow Stallion Alumni. As we enter into another school year we want to reconnect the former classes from 1984 - 2025 with the students that are currently journeying through these hollowed halls.
With that begin said we are planning a wonderful Alumni event in conjunction with the Sierra homecoming game.
So Alumni come out on Thursday September 24, 2026 5:30 - 7:00

This week’s Golden Golf Ball award winner, courtesy of Freshman Ayden Cowley, is Psychology teacher Mr. Forquer! Like Pavlov with his dogs, when the bell rings in Forquer Psych class kids know it's time to get to work! In Ayden’s words, “You have made my first month at Sierra special because you've taught me things we only get to learn about at this school!” Stallion Nation, let’s show some love for Mr. Forquer!

Check out this opportunity to elevate our student voices. We would love to see students from our community apply to be a part of this in a big way. Last year, we had a D2 student recognized as one of the top of the class and she was given a scholarship for her dedication and contributions.

The Chief’s Youth Advisory Council (YAC) gives Colorado Springs students ages 14–18 the opportunity to meet directly with the Chief of Police, learn more about CSPD operations, participate in hands-on experiences, and provide their perspectives on issues that matter to young people. The application deadline is September 14th, so make sure to act now if you have a student who is interested.

The Colorado Springs Police Department is looking for young people who want to make a difference, share their voice, and help shape conversations about policing and our community.

Our school is excited to partner with the Denver Broncos and Colorado Colorado Department of Education leaders to highlight why attendance matters! It starts with our staff and students showing up for class every single day! Let's do this!

Attendance is a team sport! Today, we're announcing our new Denver Broncos Attendance Network in partnership with the Denver Broncos Foundation and Attendance Works. This initiative is a learning cohort for school leaders focused on improving student attendance that includes 53 schools from thirteen school districts and two BOCES.

The participants include:
