This queen is one of the daughters of the legendary queen we lost to swarming this spring. Along with her two sisters, she's carrying on her mother's incredible genetics, and now a granddaughter queen is already on the way in our most recent hive addition. And thank you to everyone who donated toward that purchase! 💛
This swarm season has been one wild ride, full of surprises, blessings and what has felt like endless hive splits! I'm so deeply grateful for the abundance these bees continue to bring into my life. Here's hoping these hardworking ladies fill the supers with liquid gold this year! 🍯✨

Caught a greenhouse crime in progress this morning 🕷️🍽️
One of our resident spiders really said “farm-to-table” and helped herself to one of the ladies 😅 Not thrilled about the victim, but hey… pest control doesn’t clock out.

As soon as I opened the greenhouse door today, the girls made a beeline for the ONE wet tray 😂🐝 Talk about a thirsty crowd! After being stuck inside the hive all day yesterday thanks to that cold snap, they were clearly ready for a drink.
Nothing like a little sunshine, fresh air, and a hydration station to get everyone buzzing again ☀️💧 We’ve got lots of welcome company today—and I’m not mad about it 💛🐝
This is what bee recycling wax looks like. I gave th3 gals this little k**b of old comb and they immediately mobbed it. It takw a TON of energy for then to produce wax so if you've got extra give it back and they will happily and quickly reuse it!
