Erica’s journey has taken her through nursing, physical therapy, education, substitute teaching, coaching, homeschooling, and many wonderful opportunities working with children. Along the way, she discovered that helping young learners grow is truly where her heart belongs. 💛

Now entering her second year teaching at RME, Ms. Erica is excited to create a classroom where every child feels welcomed, supported, and encouraged to learn, explore, and grow.

🌿✨ MEET THE TEACHER: EMILY! ✨🌿

We are so excited to introduce Emily, who will be joining our team and working with our Nature, Elementary, and Middle School classes! 🍃📚🦋

🎓 Emily holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education with a minor in Early Childhood Development from Central Michigan University. She brings over a decade of teaching experience in inclusive preschool and elementary school settings, supporting children with a wide range of abilities and learning styles.

Previously, Emily served as a K–5 Special Education Teacher, where she provided reading and math intervention, evaluated students for special education services, collaborated with classroom teachers, and supported literacy development using programs such as Orton-Gillingham and Heggerty. 📖✏️

💛 What makes Emily especially exciting to welcome to our community is her belief in a different kind of learning.

Emily believes children learn best when they are moving, exploring, creating, asking questions, and discovering through meaningful experiences. 🌎🔍🌱 She sees play, relationships, nature, and real-life experiences not as separate from academics, but as the foundation for meaningful academic learning.

She is passionate about helping children build:

🍎 Meet Ms. Nicole! 📚

Nicole knew from an early age that she wanted to become a teacher. After earning her Master’s Degree in Education, she began teaching full-time in Memphis, Tennessee. She later continued her teaching career in Colorado Springs before stepping away from the classroom to stay home with her two children.

We are excited to welcome Nicole to the RME team as a Lead Teacher in our Upper Elementary and Middle School class! Nicole is passionate about discovering each student’s unique interests, encouraging their curiosity, and helping them grow into confident, lifelong learners.

🌟 Meet Ms. Alli! 🌟

Ms. Alli is the Owner and Administrator of Rocky Mountain Enrichment and has a heart for creating meaningful educational experiences while building a strong, supportive homeschool community for the whole family. 💙

After beginning her teaching career following college in Buffalo, New York, she moved to Colorado to complete her Montessori training and continue pursuing her passion for education. 🍎 She holds Bachelor's Degrees in Psychology and Sociology, a Master's Degree in Elementary Education, is Montessori trained, Gifted and Talented certified, and is a licensed teacher in Colorado, Maryland, and New York.

Before founding Rocky Mountain Enrichment with her partner, Marty, in 2023, Ms. Alli taught in public, private, and Montessori schools. 🌿 She believes children learn best through hands-on experiences, meaningful relationships, and individualized learning that meets each child where they are. Her greatest passion is creating a place where students and families feel supported, connected, inspired, and excited to learn together. ❤️
