Have you ever sat in prayer and wondered, “Was that actually God… or am I just hearing what I want to hear?” 🫠
If so, take a deep breath. You’re not failing at faith, and you’re definitely not alone.
Learning to discern God’s voice isn’t about having a perfect formula. It’s something we learn as we grow in relationship with Him. But fear, noise, and the pressure to “get it right” can make it hard to hear clearly.
If you’re craving more clarity and want to move past the second-guessing, we’d love to practice with you. 🤍
On October 8, I’m partnering with and the community for a live 90-minute interactive workshop: Hearing God’s Voice: A Beautiful Exchange Journaling Experience for Everyday Discernment.

It’s easy to get caught up in the doing, the studying, the serving, and the performance, and miss the disarming truth that we are wildly, deeply loved just as we are, right now, without achieving a single new thing.
A relationship with the Father is not a performance; it is an invitation to be held.
If you are craving that deep shift from religion to relationship, Part One of our conversation with Rachel Faulkner Brown is for you.

Healing doesn't happen while we are pretending everything is fine. ❤️🩹
This week’s conversation with Rachel Faulkner Brown (Part One) was such a powerful reframe on what it actually looks like to live out an "authentic faith."
We so easily mistake performing, checking boxes, and "powering through" for spiritual maturity. But Rachel’s story is a beautiful reminder that true freedom only begins when we drop the act and get honest about our pain, our needs, and our desire to be loved by the Father.

We are doing something different for August, splitting one powerful conversation into two distinct, life-changing episodes. We are honored to welcome Rachel Faulkner Brown to the podcast.
This two-part series is a journey from story to transformation—moving from the depths of unimaginable loss to a place of profound spiritual confidence.
🎧 Aug 11 | Ep 163: Part One (The Story)
After losing two husbands before turning 31, Rachel’s world was shattered. In this raw and honest episode, she shares why she realized she knew her Bible, but still didn't know how deeply she was loved.
🎧 Aug 25 | Ep 164: Part Two (The Transformation)
We shift to the practical teaching. Once you’ve been healed, how do you walk in it? Rachel teaches how to hear God’s voice, discern spiritual warfare, and live in true spiritual authority without fear.
You don't want to miss a single minute of this two-part series. Listen to Part One streaming TODAY on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you listen! 🤍

Which option did you pick on Slide 1? (If we’re being completely honest, most of us have done all four 🫠).
When someone hurts, criticizes, or unfairly treats us, our default is usually to protect ourselves, whether that means replaying the argument a hundred times or giving the cold shoulder.
But Romans 12 gives us such a freeing reframe: someone else’s behavior may wound you, but it never has the power to dictate who you become. You can hold firm boundaries, choose wisdom, and protect your peace without losing your character in the process. 🤍

A gentle reminder as you head into this week🚨
You cannot always control how people treat you, but you can always control who you choose to be in response.
Holding onto bitterness doesn't fix the hurt; it just hands over the pen for someone else to write your character.
In our final summer series episode on Romans 12:14-21, we’re talking about what it actually looks like to hold healthy boundaries, leave justice in God’s hands, and protect your peace.

A quick reminder for your feed today: Your lane is already fully secure. 🤍
It’s so easy to look around a room and let comparison dictate how we show up. But Romans 12 completely flips the script on that pressure, reminding us that we have a seat at the table exactly as we are.
When you know you don't have to compete for space, someone else's success stops being a threat and just becomes something you can celebrate.

Ever find yourself looking around and thinking, “Am I doing too much, not enough, or just completely missing the mark compared to everyone else?” 🫠
Comparison is such a thief; it steals the joy of the unique lane God has placed you in, and it keeps us from building the deep, authentic community we all crave.
In this week's new episode, Stop Measuring Yourself Against Everyone Else and Step into Authentic Community, we are digging into Romans 12:3-13. We're talking about how to break free from the comparison trap and confidently embrace exactly how God designed you to show up.
Whether you're out on a walk or pouring your morning coffee, come hang out and listen in! 🤍
