You’re running late, trying to get everybody out the door, and suddenly your little one decides…

“NO! I WANNA DO IT MYSELF!” 🤦🏾‍♀️😂

Putting on shoes takes 10 minutes.

Picking out clothes becomes a fashion show.

And brushing their own teeth? Well… let’s just say you might need to go behind them! 😂

But here’s something important to remember.

That little independent streak is actually a BIG part of growing up!

Between ages 2½ and 3, children are learning to make decisions, solve problems, follow routines, and become more confident in themselves.

Your child doesn’t have to know their ABCs, count to 20, or even be comfortable sharing every toy before starting preschool. 😂
