Iron and soul will start up classes again at the beginning of spring. Classes are free 25 dollar donation welcome bring your own material. Please either contact me on here or my other two pages if you would like to set up a class for the spring.

Thank you all for being patient with me. As I get this school going. I hope to create quite the vision of my school by the end of winter. With hopes of new students coming in with the spring. Again there's no charge a 25 dollar coal donation to Hephaestus would be appreciated but not expected. I am just doing my gods work. Bring your own materials. Bring proper clothing all cotton. Safety glasses are a must except the master of the shop except at grinding stations then everyone must wear safety glasses.
Again the school is open right now but for the best experience I would wait till spring.
I hope to grow this school into something great that will spread across the country, and whose business practices can be applied to every type of trade business in honor of Hephaestus.
We are just starting out as a seed but I believe and I know Iron and Soul school of metal work can be the greatest school in this country.
First we have to get the teachers the only problem is they don't know who they are yet. lol

I guess my motivating force what keeps me going regardless of circumstances. Is the effect I can have later on other schizophrenics. It’s not an instant reward situation. My hope is that I can inspire those who have been in the darkest abyss of insanity like I have that there is a way out, a better way than just living in wonderland.
I believe in order to get what you want you have to already have it. I want to be to a place of influence to inspire those with mental illness so I must start aiming my life towards that destination. Otherwise I won’t ever reach it. But if my boat is aim in the right direction then that’s where it will hit as long as nothing throws it off course including myself.

I’ve had some time to think after my last demonstration of loading and unloading equipment. I took my time with it didn’t rush it. I just finished unloading when I was ready. I realized I need to be more careful with my back. The last event there wasn’t even enough people to make working at the forge worth it.
Therefore if you would like to book me for a demo there’s going to be a paid amount set at a later date. Otherwise I will strictly be doing vending events only.

Update on how the Iron and Soul school of metal work will be operated. If you wish to take a class for free I offer classes no cost to learn the steps of blacksmithing. I will teach you to taper, upset, twist, punch, chisel, shoulder, forge weld (best done at night), draw out. I’m willing to teach those methods and how to apply it to things free of charge. Just bring your own material and a 25 dollar coal donation is always appreciated.
If you want me to teach you a specific item that I usually sell such as a staff then there is a fee. If you want to make a staff my price for example would be 200 because I charge 250 for my staffs and you have to provide material no coal donation. I have other items I know how to make that I’d be happy to teach as well for a cost. Again classes are open and spots are available.

Something different about blacksmithing from other crafts is that it can be done in complete darkness as long as you know where your anvil is. The metal provides the light that you are working. I’m sure the same can be said be for Glassworkers as well your craft provides working light.
