Meet the Teacher: Patrick Brewer

Collinwood High School is excited to welcome Patrick Brewer as our new Biology & Chemistry Teacher beginning in August 2026!

Mr. Brewer brings 18 years of teaching experience, including 10 years teaching science at Collinwood Middle School. Many of our students and families already know him as a dedicated educator and as the CHS Trojan Tennis Coach for the past six years. If you’ve ever had Mr. Brewer in class, you know he brings energy, creativity, hands-on learning, and a healthy dose of friendly competition through gamified lessons that keep students engaged and learning.

His passion for learning, love of adventure, and commitment to students make him a wonderful addition to our faculty. We are thrilled to have him joining the CHS family!

🌿📚 A beautiful morning celebrating two incredible educators and the impact they have made on Collinwood High School.

Today we honored Mrs. Gwyn Ray as she begins her retirement chapter and celebrated Mrs. Jennifer Vandiver as she starts her new role as Supervisor of Instruction. Their dedication, leadership, love for students, and years of service have left a lasting mark on CHS.

We are thankful for everything these ladies have poured into our school, our staff, and our students over the years. 💚

A huge thank you to Stacey Rich and The T House for catering an absolutely beautiful brunch and coffee bar for us. Everything was perfect and so thoughtfully done! ☕🫐🍋✨
