🎉 IT'S OFFICIAL! 🎉

We are excited to announce that Collinsville Vocal Arts Booster, Inc. has officially received our IRS determination letter recognizing us as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization!

This is an important milestone as we continue building a strong, transparent, and sustainable organization dedicated to supporting Collinsville Vocal Arts students in 6th through 12th grade.

Our 501(c)(3) recognition gives CVAB the ability to provide our donors and community partners with formal proof of our federal tax-exempt status and helps open additional opportunities for charitable giving and support.

Most importantly, it gives us another tool to help accomplish what this organization is here to do:

Support. Inspire. Elevate.

Support our students.

Inspire their growth.

Elevate the vocal arts in Collinsville.

We are incredibly excited about what is ahead for our choir and theater students, and we appreciate everyone who is helping us build this organization from the ground up.

INTRODUCING: 🎶🎭 A NEW CHAPTER FOR COLLINSVILLE VOCAL ARTS 🎭🎶

We’re excited to begin the 2026–2027 school year with Collinsville Vocal Arts Boosters (CVAB), supporting Collinsville 6th Grade, Middle School, and High School Choir and Theatre programs.

The Collinsville Vocal Arts Boosters name may already be familiar to many of our families. We intentionally retained that familiar name to provide continuity for our students, families, directors, and community as the booster organization moves forward with new leadership, a renewed structure, and a continued commitment to supporting Collinsville Vocal Arts.

Monday, we met for lunch, and are so excited to hear their thoughts and opinions as we begin our new year of singing!

WEDNESDAY, July 29:

Due to construction at the MS Gym/Choir Room entrance, the All-District/State Camp for our Middle Schoolers will be held at the HS Choir room from 1p - 3p.

Please come see us and get a head start on the audition music!

What a FANTASTIC first day of All-District/State camp!!

Nine HS singers and 10 MS singers (four of whom are rising 7th graders) have a great start to learn the audition music.

It is NEVER too late for you to come and rehearse with us in the choir rooms:
10-noon - HS singers at HS
1-3 - MS singers at MS

Look what is new in the HS Choir room! More shelving for our choral library, BUILT by our own Scott Oder, father of Junior Axton.

We first started talking about the need for more storage and I priced a duplicate unit from the vendor. I talked to the Booster Club at our very first meeting last year, and everyone was shocked at the price per unit.

Scott raised his hand and said he could probably build something comparable. And, build he did!

We are thrilled with the end result. THANK YOU for the donation of your time - and the expertise of your carpenter experience!

Now, we get to move octavo music from boxes and filing cabinets.
