From Coach Patterson: Bells ISD has a grass fire North of their school and it is moving towards the school. Bells ISD has been put on a HOLD. We cannot get onto the property for the JH/JV game at this time. We are trying our best to get a plan together ASAP! I will hopefully have an update in the next 30 minutes. Sorry for the inconvenience please be patient.

The CJH Student Voice Committee is at it again! They wanted to reward students who were participating in the game day dress up theme, Black Out. Students who wore black were entered into a drawing by grade level for a soda and a candy! 18 students won a sweet treat! Love seeing our student leaders creating engaging activities for our JH students to participate in! Can’t wait to see what they come up with next! Introducing our August student of the month: Sophia! She is always in a positive mood, and constantly asks what she can do to help. Sophia is a helper for Mr. Van Oort and Mrs. Lunsford for 6th grade band! Sophia was treated to her choice of lunch, McDonalds.
