Collinsville Education Foundation In these times of state budget cuts, schools are finding it harder and harder to adequately fund quality educational tools for teachers and classrooms.

A charitable, tax free organization established to promote academic excellence with teachers and students by involving support of the entire community and provide money grants for exceptional programs and projects. Enter the Collinsville Education Foundation. With the help of fund raisers and donations, the Foundation is filling a void by funding much needed items and projects for classrooms. Teac

hers have been spending more and more their own hard-earned money to buy tools they can use in their classrooms to provide students with lessons that go beyond what they can learn in books. How can you help? By making a donation to the Foundation in the form of a $50 annual individual membership, a $100 annual business membership or a $1,000 lifetime membership. Your donation will help give our kids a better chance of success in an ever-changing world.

We're gearing up for our 29th Annual Cardinal Scramble, which will take place on Oct. 16th at Bailey Ranch Golf Club in Owasso. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and provides money for about 95% of our classroom grants. Get a team together and go for prizes. Lunch is provided. The final numbers for the golf tournament are in. Our profit was almost $4,000 more than last year! Some hole sponsors upped their donations from previous years and we added some new sponsors. We appreciate all of them.
