We are open and following all CDC and IDPH guidelines to keep you while attending our classes!!! We specialize in the Korean martial arts of Taekwondo, Koryo Gumdo and Hapkido and offer classes to ages 5 and up. We are an elite martial arts school, not a gym. We value quality education and approach the martial arts from that perspective. Our focus is to develop individuals physically, mentally and

spiritually. It is our desire to guide individuals along the path to becoming a Black Belt as opposed to simply selling them one. We are not a production line. Producing high numbers of Black Belts is not our aim. We strive for excellence on every level and that takes time, patience, discipline, courage and a lot of hard work. We believe in teaching life skills, such as courtesy, integrity, commitment and focus, respect for self and others, discipline, humility and courage. These make up the core Tenets of our Art. These shape our character and make us better human beings. We invite you to come visit our school, watch a a class or two and learn what McArther's Tae Kwon Do & Fitness is all about!

Discouragement does not always mean you are on the wrong path. Sometimes it means the path is finally demanding something greater from you.

Anyone can continue when progress is obvious, motivation is high, and success feels close. The deeper training begins when effort produces little reward, confidence disappears, and you start questioning whether you are capable at all.

Those moments reveal what motivation cannot.

They teach patience. They expose weakness. They force you to develop discipline that does not depend on how you feel.

You will have days when you doubt yourself. Days when quitting sounds reasonable. Days when the distance ahead feels greater than the strength you have left.

Do not mistake those moments for failure.

Discouragement is often part of becoming stronger.

You are not being trained only to succeed when conditions are favorable. You are being trained to continue when they are not.

Sometimes the lesson is not how to win.

It is how to keep going.
