Client Highlight đź’Ş

This is Chris. He’s been one of my online clients who has been with me for a while now — and the results speak for themselves.

He started working together a few years ago where I was able to help him get down from 97.7kg to 92.2kg. After that, he needed to take some time away to take care of other priorities.

We started working again about 6 months ago, focusing on getting his strength up, but these last 4 months of that have shown some incredible progress!!!

He’s now dropped from sitting between 92-93kg to 87-88kg and on top of that….

The strength gains have been just as impressive. He went from struggling to complete a single pull-up to now knocking out 5 with ease.

To say I’m Proud of the consistency and work that got him here would be an understatement, but it will have to do!!!

Great work Rainey!!!

As a full time coach, most people don’t get to see me outside of that world, so here’s the proof that I do have a life outside of coaching!!

100kg for 3. Not too bad for not back squatting for so long. Happy with the depth as well.

Massive congratulations to .sk hitting a big achievement of 100kg RDL and doing it for reps!!!

This is what happens when hard work and consistency meet with a smidge of dancing and energy drinks!!!

If you want to get strong like Stacey and hit new PBs, comment “Deadlift” or message me directly to get started!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Your strength training doesn’t need to look like jiu-jitsu.

You don’t need to do pull-ups with your gi, you don’t need to do weighted shrimps or any other crazy s**t.

The gym is where you build your work capacity and strength — you develop your jiu-jitsu specific skills on the mats. You wouldn’t bring a barbell to BJJ class, so you don’t need to bring your gi to do rows.

Conflating the two just waters down both, and using a gi in the gym takes away from the actual strength gains you’re chasing without adding anything you don’t already get from training.

So keep it simple: build strength in the gym, build skill on the mats. If you want a program that does exactly that — DM “STRONG” to get started.
