📢 Important Attendance Update for CCSD Families

Beginning July 1, 2026, Mississippi’s new compulsory attendance law (SB 2103) went into effect, bringing several important changes to student attendance requirements.

Please take a moment to review the graphic below to learn about:
✅ The new attendance requirements
✅ Excused absence limits
✅ When a doctor’s note is required
✅ Updated consequences for excessive unexcused absences
