Congratulations to our 2026-2027 baseball team!

We’ve received a lot of questions regarding physicals and summer practices. Here is a quick tid-but of information to help out!

Athletics Compliance and Information:

Physicals for the 2026-2027 school year must be dated April 15th, 2026 or later.

Physicals from the previous year (2025-2026) expire on June 20th, 2026.

The TSSAA Dead Period is June 22, 2026-July 5, 2026. During this time, no activity associated with school sports of any kind is allowed.

For tryouts, an assumption of risk on file is acceptable, however a physical must be in place before the first practice. (TSSAA defines tryouts as practice, but the assumption of risk will be allowed for tryouts alone.)

Student-Athlete’s final form portal should be completed in its entirety before the first practice date. (Note- students do not have school iPads, so if this is an issue, student-signed portion can be completed in August, with written understanding of expectations given to the coach!)

We had some awesome Track and Field representatives today at the state Meet in Knoxville!

Results from the meet:
Noah Barker placed 9th overall in the state for Boys High Jump
Karmyn Muse placed 11th overall in the state for Girls 100m
4x8 relay ( Izel Che, Chandler Butler, Sierra Roper and Elenor Hight) 16th overall in the state
Chandler Butler placed 13th overall in the state for girls 1600m
