We are excited to celebrate a major academic achievement for Collierville Middle School!

We recently received our Pre-ACT results, and we are proud to announce that 57 of our 8th-grade students from the 2025–2026 school year earned national honors through the ACT Rising Stars Program! These national recognition tiers celebrate students who demonstrate exceptional academic knowledge and college readiness.

✨ Distinguished Scholars: 27 students scored at or above the 97th percentile nationally.

✨ Rising Scholars: 30 students scored between the 90th and 96th percentiles nationally.

This outstanding accomplishment reflects the hard work and dedication of our students, the commitment of our educators, and the continued support of our families. We are incredibly proud of these students and all they have accomplished!

Certificates and pins recognizing this achievement will be provided to the high school for distribution to the students.

🌺🌴 ALOHA, 6TH GRADE! 🌴🌺

Last night, our Collierville Cheerleading Dragons hosted what just might have been the BEST 6th Grade Dance yet! 🤩 And this luau-themed night had allllll the vibes! 🌺🕺💃

The dance floor stayed FULL, the music was going thanks to our very own….DJ B-Rad, and the concessions were definitely hitting the spot! 🍕🍭🥤 Our 6th graders showed up ready to have some FUN, and they did not disappoint!

A HUGE shoutout to all of the teachers who stayed late to help and to our amazing CDD Cheerleaders and parents for working hard and helping make the night so much fun! ❤️🐉📣

Nothing better than seeing our Dragons making memories together! 🌴🌺

✏️💰 Grant Writing Workshop! 💰✏️

Yesterday afternoon, our teachers spent some time sharpening their grant-writing skills and learning how to turn great ideas into opportunities for our students! 🐉❤️

A huge THANK YOU to CEF for their continued support of our schools and educators, and a very special shoutout to Hinna Jamal for leading our workshop! Hinna did an amazing job breaking down the application process and walking our teachers through the ins and outs of writing a strong grant proposal.

We’re excited to see the creative ideas our teachers bring to life this year! 🌟

📣 What a way to kick off the year—our Dragons gathered today for our first school-wide assembly, and the energy was AMAZING! 🐉🔥

Mr. Heinrich helped launch the year by guiding students in creating our CMS Social Contract—a shared promise about the kind of school community we want to be. From respect and responsibility to kindness and accountability, our Dragons had a voice in shaping the expectations that will guide us all year long.

We also rolled out our 3 C’s for success: Be Consistent, Be Committed, and Be Compassionate 💪💙 These three simple but powerful ideas will help us stay focused, lift each other up, and build a school where every Dragon can shine.

When every voice matters, every Dragon helps build something great. And we are SO excited to see these commitments come to life each day!

Here’s to a year full of learning, growing, and cheering each other on every step of the way! ❤️🐉
