Our 8th grade class spent their last day at West enjoying the annual picnic. Some Dragons showed off some mad engineering skills with an oversized Jenga set!

West Varsity Baseball is moving up in state championship tournament play!
They won their first game 10-1! 🎉⚾️🎉

Both the WCMS boys’ and girls’ golf teams are HEADED TO STATE in Nashville next week! On Monday, May 4, both WCMS golf team placed first in the W-2 TMSGA District Tournament. Luke Baker and Knox Andrews tied for 2nd place as individuals with a score of 37 (+1). Hailey Howell was the medalist with the overall low girls' score of 46 (+10). Both teams advanced to the 18-hole TMSGA West Sectional Tournament Monday, May 11. BOTH teams were named TMSGA WEST SECTIONAL CHAMPIONS Monday by beating out EVERY public and private team in the West Sectional Tournament.
The boys won beat the 2nd place team by 30 strokes! The girls beat the 2nd place team by 22 strokes! The boys were led by Josh Baker (73), Josh Williamson (77), and Knox Andrews (79). Luke Baker was named to the All- Sectional Team. The girls were led by Hailey Howell (85) and Halsey Hart (95). Both Hailey and Halsey were named to the All-Sectional Team and Hailey was the medalist with the overall lowest girls score of the day.

Shoutout to Ms. Rebecca Secrist who was named the TMSGA West Sectional Coach of the Year! 🎉
