Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week is coming up May 4–8, and we’d love for our families to join us in making it extra special! 💛

Here are some fun daily ideas to show your appreciation:

❤️ Monday: Tell your Science teacher they are READ-markable
📘 Tuesday: Let your ELA teacher know they are a real PAGE-TURNER
➗ Wednesday: Let your Math teacher know they make every day COUNT
🌎 Thursday: Tell your Social Studies teacher they’ve helped you see the world in a whole new way
🎨 Friday: Tell your Art, Music, PE, and specialty teachers they are the EXTRA credit in every chapter

Each day, consider surprising your teacher with a special treat, flowers, a small gift card, or a handwritten note. Participation is completely optional, but always appreciated!

Let’s work together to make our staff feel celebrated all week long! ✨

Join us for our CMS PTA General Membership Meeting on May 4 at 6:00 PM!

We’ll be recognizing our Lifetime Achievement Award recipients, approving our 2026–2027 Board of Managers, and reviewing a budget amendment.

We hope to see you there as we come together to support our school and community!

We will recognize our Reflections and Citizenship contest winners, vote on a budget amendment, and then enjoy the CMS Black History Program following the meeting.
