The Colleyville Woman’s Club will hold its first meeting of the year on Tuesday, September 8 at the Colleyville Center. Social time will begin at 11:00 am and the meeting will commence at 11:30 am.

Come learn about the club and all the exciting events and activities planned for this upcoming year. Plus enjoy meeting this year’s leadership team and visiting with new and returning members.

Thank you to everyone who joined us at 𝐂𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐖𝐚𝐲 𝐊𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐧 (https://craftwaykitchen.com) for our monthly 1st Tuesday Social Hour! We had a wonderful turnout, and it was such a pleasure meeting so many new, beautiful women while catching up with familiar faces and dear friends.

The evening was filled with great conversations, laughter, and new connections—exactly what Colleyville Woman’s Club is all about. We love seeing friendships grow and welcoming new members into our community.

CWC has been honored by the GCISD Education Foundation as a Hall of Fame Sponsor for 2026. They applied our grant to the purchase of $50 gift cards (for school supplies) to each and every new teacher this year! The teachers were thrilled and so were we!

CWC is Making A Difference in the Community!

GCISD Bridges Accelerated Learning Center Graduation

Each year, CWC supports the GCISD Bridges Accelerated Learning Center, an academic alternative school that provides an opportunity for “at-risk” students to complete the required course work necessary for high school graduation. Students need to apply for acceptance into the program and work on their courses independently.

CWC sponsored the graduation reception at the Grapevine Conference Center on May 22.

CWC supports the staff at GCISD Bridges Accelerated Learning Center throughout the year.

To celebrate the end of the school year, Bridges Co-Chairs Velma Walker and Gloria Millimet brought box lunches for all of the staff to enjoy.

We thank Mike Lewis of 𝐌𝐈𝐊𝐄 𝐋𝐄𝐖𝐈𝐒 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐏𝐇𝐘 for taking Caring With Commitment Celebration (CWCC) photos of the honorees as they received their grants, scholarships, and awards on April 30! Mike has been a great supporter of CWC for many years.

𝐌𝐀𝐘 𝟏𝟐 𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐋 𝐌𝐄𝐄𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆

At our final meeting of the 2025–2026 fiscal year, members gathered for a delicious luncheon graciously provided by the CWC Board.

President Carol Wollin expressed appreciation to the Board and all CWC members for their active involvement, dedication, and spirit of service throughout the year.

Members enjoyed a special PowerPoint presentation highlighting the many activities, events, and accomplishments that made this year meaningful and memorable.

Our last hands-on CWC 𝐕𝐎𝐋𝐔𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐄𝐑 𝐎𝐏𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐘 for the year was working with Metroport Meals on Wheels at their luncheon on May 1 at the Colleyville Senior Center. We provided homemade breakfast casseroles and desserts to supplement the meal. We also prepared the salads and served the lunch.

It was a fun and rewarding Volunteer Opportunity. Thank you to all the CWC members who volunteered their time to prep and serve and to all those who baked for the seniors' luncheon.

We held our Caring With Commitment Celebration today; recognizing youth, thanking our community supporters, and presenting grants to local charities—a meaningful wrap‑up to our fiscal year.
