You Me & Creativity

Directions

You Me & Creativity You Me & Creativity is the art studio of art teacher Mirinda Buxton. Private art classes, group art classes, art camps, and specialized art parties!

weekly classes for students ages 3-5 in the morning. Private lessons for high school students who wish to develop a portfolio for college entrance. Elementary students can take part in ART EVENTS. I've found elementary art students do their best work when engaged in a small group setting where they can start and finish a piece of art. So, I offer the "Art Event". Elementary age students can take part in ART EVENTS, which include; making food art to eat and share, making theme related art, and learning art techniques while using high quality materials in a festive environment. Generally ART EVENTS center on a holiday theme, which motivates, relaxes, and inspires the students. The art we make meaningfully lays the groundwork for young artists to grow into adults who love creating. Elementary ART EVENTS are offered on Saturdays and Sundays to accommodate everyone. Generally the time is 1-3pm. Event prices vary depending on materials and food art. Prices always include all materials and are posted on FB and in email. ART EVENTS post on You Me & Creativity FB site first. About a week after FB post, if the event is not full, I send it to email contacts. I encourage parents to "subscribe" and "post" comments on You Me & Creativity business FB. I am a PA certified art teacher with a Bachelors of Arts degree in art education (Tyler School of Art, Temple University) and a Master’s degree in art education (Kutztown University). I have been successfully teaching art in public and private schools, pre-K through 12th grade, for 23 years. I started this business 1.5 years ago to share real art in a group setting, that could not be found anywhere else, with our now 7 and 5 year old children along with a community of students who wish to develop their creativity through art experiences!

Private art lessons, art camps, art events, art parties, preschool art classes, art for all ages, and art all around town have given me the opportunity to share creativity with so many students! My mission has always been to give students the highest quality creative experience possible and I am so thankful you have hired me do that in so many ways, in so many of your lives!

We are so booked with on location student art groups that we will not have events for students in the You Me & Creativity art studio during March.
You Me & Creativity is all over town in March crafting St. Patrick’s Day and Easter art, creating group auction artwork, and a special group mural project. Keep watching on FB page to see the finished products!!
We do have one spring event already posted in April for Teens/tweens!
