Sunday, April 16 at 7:00pm, SBH Theater
Please join piano faculty Lisa Drontle, Amy Grinsteiner and Jenya Trubnikava for an hour-long concert of 2-piano music in celebration of Dr. Ed Turley, on what would have been his 71st birthday. Guest performers include Dr. Carolyn Finley on piano and dancers Leigh Dillard and David DeBlieck. Recordings of Beethoven's "Hammerklavier" Sonata by Dr. Turley will also be shared from his recording work with sound engineer, Jeff Engholm. Free FAE/ARTE.

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Dr. Ed Turley. Ed passed away peacefully in his sleep, Thursday, September 29, in his home after doing what he loved most, practicing piano. Ed had been teaching in the Music Department since 1981, teaching a variety of piano courses, lessons, music history. He was a great friend, mentor to students, staff, and faculty, and husband to Carolyn Finley. Ed will always be remembered for his kind heart, contagious positive personality, and influence he had on our community!
