Beginning of event volunteer positions:
- Unloading equipment
- Setting up tables and chairs
- Setting up food and drink table
- Packaging and serving food (must have a Texas Food Handlers License)
End of event volunteer positions:
- Continue serving food (must have a Texas Food Handlers License)
- Clean up food area
- Tearing down equipment

PEMC has been developed to accustom students with the various components of planning, managing, implementing and evaluating meetings and special events.

Interested in helping TAMU host “greener,” more sustainable events?
This part-time, paid internship is your opportunity to gain valuable experience in sustainable event management. The position will require a commitment of 4 hours per week on average (at $12/hour) and is open to undergraduate students at Texas A&M; PEMC students and/or RPTS majors preferred. Applicants should be available to work both Fall 2021 and Spring 2022; selected students will earn up to $500 per semester.
The initial focus will be on events hosted by the RPTS department, in the latter half of the Spring 2022 semester, emphasis will be on best-practice recommendations for TAMU student organizations and other TAMU units.

Please join us for a presentation and discussion on diversity hosted by the RPTS department and RPTS 321 on March 26, 2021 from 1-3pm. There will be speakers, a short documentary clip, discussion groups, and a drawing for prizes at the end of the event. Everyone who attends the event will be entered into the drawing.
