We are so proud of what we get to do in the community and love that Mickie is being honored for his work.

While everyone is celebrating National Inventors Day this week, at Byrd Academy helping kids celebrate their inner inventor is what we do every week. We love getting to bring invention and innovation to the North Bryan Community Center each week.

If you could invent anything that your mind could dream of, what would you invent? (Don’t worry — we aren’t trying to steal your ideas 😜).

Today and every day, equity is a cornerstone of our work at BYRD Academy. Today our team got together to plan for the future of BYRD Academy in 2023 and decide how we want to impact equity in STEM. It was an honor to get to do this on a day meant to honor MLK and the work that he did. We hope to make even a fraction of that impact here at BYRD.

On Wednesdays after school you can find BYRD Academy in Hearne for our ACE Program. This is a program open to all Hearne ISD students in which we teach 3rd through 6th graders our MESHED Curriculum. We are looking forward to a fun time!
