Neighborhood integrity starts with people who care—and those who step up to protect and serve play a vital role in keeping our community strong, safe, and connected.
To show our appreciation, board members Cheryl Bastian, Peter Bastian, and Linda Harvell delivered some well-deserved treats to the College Station Police Department.
Thank you for your dedication to preserving the safety, trust, and integrity of our neighborhoods. We’re truly grateful for all that you do!

We had a fantastic turnout at last night’s CSAN Annual Meeting!
We were proud to honor Linda Bendiksen for her dedicated service to CSAN and to officially welcome Kerry Roper to the Board.
We also hosted a thoughtful moderated discussion, gathering valuable feedback on current issues at City Hall and hearing directly from our members. Your input is helping shape how we advocate for our community in 2026. Thank you to everyone who participated!

CSAN showed up strong at last night’s City Council meeting! 💪
Board members Peter Bastian and Chuck Elliott delivered thoughtful and impactful remarks focused on the future of Pebble Creek, including concerns about how impervious coverage policies tied to high-density middle housing could impact neighborhoods downstream of the Bee Creek River Basin.
We’d also like to give a special shoutout to Kerry Roper for his leadership in championing the Pebble Creek Pkwy. effort and for his compelling comments on the issue.
Kerry will be up for nomination as a CSAN board member at the upcoming annual meeting at Ringer Library, Apr 14 at 6 pm. We hope to see you there!

Happy Friday! We’re excited for the weekend ahead! ☀️
Last weekend, several CSAN members attended the College Station Parks Foundation’s Spring Kick-Off Concert at Wolf Pen Creek. It was a great evening of music, community, and beautiful weather — and a wonderful reminder of what makes College Station such a special place to live.
We love seeing our neighborhoods come together at events like these. Here’s to another great weekend in our community!

Last week, Council member David White hosted a Town Hall with more than 100 residents in attendance.
While several topics were discussed, the primary focus was the proposed extension of Pebble Creek Parkway. Currently, the City’s Comprehensive Plan shows a future southern extension to Southern Pointe, which planners anticipate could carry significant traffic, especially with the proposed 2,700-home Savannah Oaks development between Pebble Creek and Southern Pointe.
CSAN firmly supports amending the Comprehensive Plan to:
• Maintain Pebble Creek Parkway as a two-lane road
• Allow only an Emergency Vehicle Only connection to Savannah Oaks and Southern Pointe
To learn more about the Town Hall and the reasoning behind CSAN’s position, see the link in the comments.
