TASC got in some chasing on Tuesday! Shoutout to our forecasters for the excellent decision-making that got us on the right cell which provided really cool learning experiences. We got some really cool pictures too, credits to Ciara Santiago and Chase Haralson for sharing.

TASC chased yesterday! Here are some of our sightings. Didn’t get too close to any of the major features, but still got some nice shots.

While TASC will not be chasing the nearby storms tomorrow, we will be assisting the A&M SOUP program in their balloon launches. Additionally, we will be running the Aggie Doppler Radar throughout the event, and monitoring storms from the O&M Observatory. Our live radar data is available online for anyone interested. If you live in the moderate risk area (which includes College Station), please be cognizant of the weather, and be prepared to take the necessary safety precautions.

While we've been back for a while, it appears our friendly storm from Waco isn't done with us yet! GRK radar is estimating 1.5" hail with this storm, and it appears to be on track to affect the BCS area shortly! We'll post any pictures we get as this moves through!

TASC is heading back to College Station! Wasn't enough discrete cells to chase, and not much rotation has been observed in the nearby storms. We did get in a few hail reports to the NWS, I'll be sure to post more pictures as they come in! We saw all we could while staying safe, and there's always next time!

Team just departed Mineral Wells, Texas... heading further to the Northeast. Latest high resolution models are suggesting a 21Z initiation, we should be in position by then.

TASC leadership is currently watching the setup for the later part of this week here in TX, albeit we're not too enthusiastic about it thus far. We'll post more about any decisions we make. Looking even further out, we're liking the setup early next week, but of course things will change by then. Let the season begin!

TASC is preparing for the chase season! We have one more safety briefing coming up before the season, and we're looking at acquiring a 360 degree camera so all our followers can experience the chase just as we do! Watch for more updates coming soon!
