🦠🧬What an incredible Week 1 at Microbe Masters Camp! 🧫🦠

Our young scientists explored the fascinating world of microbes through hands-on experiments, microscopy investigations, sourdough science, mushroom discoveries, and real laboratory experiences.🍄‍🟫🍄

One of the biggest surprises? After swabbing and culturing bacteria from everyday objects around the School House, the sample that grew the most bacteria wasn’t a table or doorknob, it was a camper’s hand!🖐🏻 🔬It sparked some great conversations about germs, hygiene, and the microscopic world around us.

🧬🧪 Week 2: STEM in the Kitchen! 🍕🍦

Campers will use the sourdough starters they created this week to make personal pizzas while exploring the science behind cooking, chemistry, and food transformations. They’ll also build solar ovens, make farm-fresh cheese, create rainbow fruit candy, conduct a cranberry volcano experiment, and make ice cream in a bag!

This week, campers will step into the fascinating world of microbiology as they investigate the invisible organisms that impact our everyday lives. Through hands-on experiments, outdoor adventures, STEM challenges, and real scientific investigations, campers will discover that some of the world’s biggest mysteries come in the smallest packages!

📣 SUMMER CAMP PICKUP JUST GOT EASIER!

How do we make summer camp pickup less chaotic? We create a system! 😊

Each family will receive an Agape School House Summer Camp Driveline Card for every camper enrolled.

🚗 No need to park or get out of your vehicle!

Simply:

✅ Pull into the pickup line
✅ Place your driveline card in your vehicle window
✅ Our staff will identify your camper and es**rt them directly to your vehicle

Quick, easy, and safe!

🔑 Authorized Pickup Made Simple

You may give the driveline card to any adult authorized to pick up your camper.

If the adult has the driveline card:
✔ No ID required
✔ Camper will be released curbside

If the adult does NOT have the driveline card:
✔ They must park their vehicle
✔ Walk to the pickup table
✔ Present a valid driver’s license
✔ Be listed on the camper’s approved pickup authorization form

Please note that campers will not be released to individuals who are not listed on the approved pickup form, regardless of relationship.

This verification process takes additional time, so we strongly encourage families to keep the driveline card in their vehicle for the fastest pickup experience.

💡 Pro Tip: Keep your driveline card in your visor, glove box, or center console so it is always ready at pickup!
