The digital scholarly resources in the field of eighteenth-century studies that are all searchable here, together, in one place, come from libraries, companies like Gale, and scholars themselves. All of these resources are either digital collections of primary texts or content that has been or will be peer-reviewed by 18thConnect itself. 18thConnect therefore contains: metadata about each site or collection, links that take users to the materials in sites and collections, and if available, plain text versions of each digital item for full-text searching. Users who come to the site can search all the digital materials aggregated by 18thConnect at the same time by word or “facet”: title, author, date, collection, genre, discipline, material type.

In the meantime, 18thConnect.org will be available. Please tag, collect, and comment on TypeWright texts to correct in the near future!

We're experiencing some issues with TypeWright this afternoon, and we'll likely be continuing to experience them well into the night. Our extreme apologies for the inconvenience, and please bear with us as we solve the issue.

TypeWright users! We need your help!

When correcting documents in TypeWright, do you use the "Insert Above" and/or "Insert Below" buttons? If so, please comment here or vote in our Twitter poll.

This will help us tremendously. Not sure which buttons we're talking about? Let us know that too!
