An incredible week with our group at Camp ARCH!

High school campers explored the world of landscape architecture and urban planning through hands-on projects, campus tours and real conversations about shaping better, more sustainable communities. They even presented their ideas at City Hall and got a behind-the-scenes look at Kyle Field!

It was an exciting week full of creativity, learning and new connections. We loved having these future planners and designers with us — Gig ’em!👍

BLA students just had an very informative lecture session by Russell Thomman who graduated from our program in 2008. In the presentation, he showed many applications of the use of drones for remote site analysis and other applications in Landscape Architecture and Planning. Thank you, Russell!

Congratulations Dongying!

Congratulations to Dr. Dongying Li for being named one of the Montague-CTE Scholars for 2022. This year marks the 32nd year that this distinguished honor in teaching excellence has been awarded. It is awarded annually to one tenure-track professor (per school/college) based on their early success in and passion for teaching undergraduate students.

Congratulations and keep shining, Dongying!
