What an amazing end to our first 8 days of school! We had an amazing pep rally on Friday and all of these amazing students did such a great job! 3 bands and 170+ students make for an impressive show! If you have any pictures from the pep rally, please post them in the comments!

Help us welcome our new Assistant Band Director, Mr. Alex Pettigrew!
Originally from Tomball and joining us after spending the past 8 years teaching in Odessa, Mr. Pettigrew brings a passion for music, dedication to students, and a love for building strong band communities. A proud WTAMU graduate and talented tuba player, he is excited to begin this next chapter with our program and become part of the Wellborn family.
We are thrilled to have him on our team — welcome to the program, Mr. Pettigrew! 🖤💛

The Warhawks started the school year with an incredible Welcome Back Pep Rally! 🎉 Our Dance Team, Cheerleaders, and Band brought the energy and school spirit, filling the room with excitement. What a fantastic way to kick off the year! 🦅🖤💛🖤💛

🎉 Huge congratulations to the Wellborn Band! 🎉

This was our very first time entering the TMEA Honor Band process, and our students rose to the occasion. After advancing from Region, Wellborn proudly represented Region 8 at the Area level—and placed 6th overall!

We are beyond proud of their hard work, heart, and musicianship. What an incredible accomplishment for our first time out. 💙🎶 Way to go, Warhawks!
